Join Bunbury Men of Song's MADV Initiative

As part of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, we are calling on men in our community to take a stand against domestic violence and help create a safer future for all.

What is the Bunbury Men of Song MADV Initiative?

We are launching a Pop-Up Choir with the goal of bringing together 40 brave men to perform at a special concert on December 6 at the Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre (BREC).

Why Get Involved?

Raise Awareness: Shine a light on the critical issue of domestic violence and support those affected.

Build Community: Connect with other men who are committed to fostering healthy, loving relationships.

Make a Difference: All proceeds from the concert will go to local domestic violence support agencies.

How Can You Participate?

Join the Pop-Up Choir:

  • Rehearsals are on the following Fridays evenings (6 PM - 8 PM). September 6, 13, 20; October 11, 18, 25; November 1, 8, 15, 22, 29. 10 rehearsals to be held at BREC. 1 to be held at St Augustine Uniting Church.

  • Light refreshment provided along with a 15-minute information session on domestic violence at each rehearsal.

  • Perform in the grand concert on December 6.
